I am an Indian bride and I worked with Phrenchie (Hair) and Angie (Makeup) for all 3 of my Indian wedding event looks; the extended DC Elite team also did hair and makeup for my Mom and my 5 bridesmaids. I first worked with DC Elite as a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding in 2022. Phrenchie did my hair then, and I remember feeling so seen as she worked with my naturally curly hair to create a beautiful updo. In the past, if I’d had my hair done as a bridesmaid, the stylist would first straighten it to be able to style it; Phrenchie embraced my hair texture and created a stunning, natural look. Fast forward to planning for my own wedding and remembering my past experience with Phrenchie and DC Elite, I made sure to seek them out and hire them right away! Both Phrenchie and Angie worked with me to create gorgeous, natural looks. I felt confident in all 3 of my styles and received so many compliments throughout the weekend. My 3-days wedding weekend would not have been possible without Teresa and her talented DC Elite Image team. Teresa and Phrenchie were flexible with doing my trial wedding hair/makeup in both Washington DC and southern California, a few months before the wedding. During the wedding weekend, the team travelled to 3 different locations to assist us with getting ready for 4 events over 3 days (including 2 back-to-back days of starting a 4-5 AM). They brought energy, optimism, big smiles, calming presence, an absolute hair and makeup magic! Teresa and Sharon’s bridal makeup looks were perfection, enhanced my monolid eyes, was 100% sweat and waterproof (even in 90-degrees weather). Phrenchie and Katrina were delightful to work with, and they created the most beautiful textured updo, voluminous waves, Rapunzel braid, and Hollywood curls. I had so much fun with the artists in creating my different looks for the 4 events, which ranged from natural romantic to whimsical to Hollywood glam. The team was comfortable with adapting styles to my multi-cultural wedding, and made everyone in my ethnically diverse wedding party look gorgeous.

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send over a detailed bridal agreement outlining your services, timeline, and rates with everything clearly itemized, so you know exactly what to expect.
Your retainer goes toward your total balance (never an extra fee!) and officially holds your wedding date. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and credit cards (a 3.5% convenience fee applies for cards).
Once your signed agreement and retainer are received, your date and getting-ready time frame are reserved exclusively for you. We allocate the perfect amount of time based on your headcount to keep your morning calm, on schedule, and absolutely stress-free.
